Welding mask manufacturers: how to protect welding noise?

Noise protection plasma arc welding and cutting process noise intensity is higher, generally higher than the allowable strength, will cause damage to the hearing and nervous system, so we should take protective measures, mainly in the following aspects:

1. Welders should wear personal protective devices such as noise earmuff or noise earplugs. The earmuff has better sound insulation than ear plugs, but its size is large.  There are many kinds of open plugs, commonly used for ear grinding type 5 rubber earplugs, with easy to carry, economical and durable, sound insulation and other advantages.

Two, in the housing structure, equipment and other parts of the adoption of sound absorption and sound insulation materials, are more effective. When the sealing cover is applied to weld, the noise proof material such as asbestos can be lined on the shield, and also has certain effect.

Three. Develop and adopt a small muffler suitable for the nozzle of welding torch.

4. Noise intensity is related to the flow rate of working gas. Therefore, low noise working parameters should be selected on the premise of guaranteeing welding process and quality requirements.
